New Jersey reveals online gaming revenue growth in May

The New Jersey Division of Gaming Enforcement has revealed that the US state was able to report a month-on-month increase in online gambling revenue in May.

The New Jersey Division of Gaming Enforcement has revealed that the US state was able to report a month-on-month increase in online gambling revenue in May.

Internet gaming win amounted to $21.1m (€18.8m) last month, up from $20.8m in April and a rise of 27.3% on the $16.5m collected in May 2016.

Online gaming revenue for the year-to-date, through to the end of May, stood at $101.2m, an increase of 29% on the same point last year.

Meanwhile, casino win also increased in May, with the $208.3m generated last month reflecting an improvement on the $191m collected in April and a 2.5% rise on $203.3m in May 2016.

Total gaming win for New Jersey in May amounted to $229.4m, up by 4.3% on $219.8m, while overall gaming win for the year-to-date is up 3.8% year-on-year to $1.07bn.
