RedKings.com Receives ‘White-Label’ Status
Online poker site RedKings.com has been granted a ‘white-label’ poker license for the European Union following an agreement with software supplier Ongame under its Gibraltar remote gambling certificate.
RedKings.com stated that it would now increase its marketing efforts across Europe as the license permits it to advertise in the UK and ensures its player base of tax-free poker winnings in many European countries.
With the European Poker Tour kicking off in Copenhagen this week featuring Team RedKings, RedKings.com stated that the new license would also allow it to focus on Denmark. It revealed that the vast majority of Danish poker players insist on this type of license and its new status would also allow it to offer these customers its tournaments and exciting promotions.
“In just two years, RedKings.com has already achieved meteoric growth and with this new ‘white-label’ poker license we anticipate a huge surge of business especially from the Scandinavian countries and the UK,” read a statement from RedKings.com.
“We are proud to have achieved the exacting standards that are required for a license of this kind.”
RedKings.com has also announced that World Series Of Poker (WSOP) bracelet winner Ivo ‘The Chessmaster’ Doney and Aussie Millions sensation Christian Heich have become the latest additions to its Team RedKings and will make their debut in Copenhagen.
Donev won the Limit Omaha WSOP event in 2000 and is the most successful Austrian live tournament poker of all time with earnings over one million dollars. Recent successes for German player Heich include winning a side event at the Aussie Millions and finishing in the top 20 during the Main Event.
“It’s great to have good players wanting to join us in making RedKings.com one of the biggest poker rooms in the world,” said Jerry Land, Live Events Manager for RedKings.com.
