William Hill Australia has joined forces with Lottoland to roll out an integrated platform that will allow customers to bet on the world’s leading lottery draws.

The company said that ‘William Hill Planet Lottery’ represents a “category first partnership” for corporate bookmakers, adding that the new platform will be available to access via desktop mobile or tablet.

William Hill also said all winning bets will be guaranteed by Lottoland.

Oliver Scott, head of corporate at William Hill, said: “William Hill is a leader in Australian betting, and we are thrilled to make this innovative and exciting new offering available to our punters, to bet low stakes for the chance to win goliath jackpots.”

Lottoland has been the subject of much debate in the UK in recent months over the legality of selling bets on lottery draws.

The UK government recently undertook a consultation into whether secondary lottery providers should continue to be allowed to take wagers on the outcome of draws.

Lottoland previously engaged in a war of words with Camelot over its decision to freeze EuroMillions bets at £2 when the UK monopoly lottery operator moved to increase the price of a regular ticket to £2.50.
