Scout partners Parimatch, extends with Kaizen

B2B fantasy sports supplier Scout Gaming has struck a supply deal with Parimatch and also extended its partnership with Kaizen Gaming, the group behind the Stoiximan and Betano brands.

Parimatch, which is focused on the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) region of Eastern Europe, will now roll out Scout’s daily fantasy sport product.

The new partnership comes after Ukrainian president Volodymyr Zelensky this week signed off on the new Gambling Act, which is set to legalise gambling in the country.

Parimatch, which was founded in the Ukraine 1994, is expected to be one of the first companies to apply for and obtain a local licence in the country.

“We are constantly improving our product offering and are very happy to be able to offer the market leading fantasy product to our clients in a near future,” Parimatch chief executive Sergey Portnov said. “Scout’s software will extend our already very successful sports offering and we are looking forward to a long-term successful co-operation.”

Scout chief executive Andreas Ternstrom also praised the deal, saying that the supplier was pleased to be working with one of the largest operators in the CIS region.

“We are impressed by how the team on Parimatch has grew their operations in the recent years and we are happy to further support their growth with offering our full product portfolio,” Ternstrom said.

Meanwhile, Scout has extended its agreement with Kaizen Gaming, in deal that will see the operator to become the first to launch a daily fantasy sport product in Greece.

The expanded agreement replaces the original deal signed in May 2018, with Kaizen now set to gain exclusive rights for the use of Scout’s products.

Kaizen will be able to launch all additional games in Scout’s product portfolio, including Player Performance Odds and Player Matchups, as well as expand into additional markets through its Betano brand.

In addition, the two parties will work together to develop the products further.

“Providing an optimum experience to those who trust us is a key objective for our customer centric approach and collaboration with Scout Gaming is proven to be instrumental on this one,” head of commercial at Stoiximan for Kaizen Chris Tzalavras said.

Scout’s chief commercial officer Joakim Renman added: “Kaizen has been quick to spot and act on the positive trend enjoyed by the European DFS market and the results have been amazing. We are looking forward to supporting their growth with our products.”
