Plus500 has announced a series of major management and directorate changes, including the appointment of Elad Evan-Chen as its new chief financial officer.

Evan-Chen, who currently serves as finance director and vice-president business development at the company, began his new role on Tuesday this week.

Already a director of Plus500’s Cyprus arm, Evan-Chen will join the Plus500board, with his predecessor Inbal Marom taking on a new role of vice-president finance.

Meanwhile, Plus500 has also confirmed that non-executive director Paul Boyle has indicated he will not stand for re-election at the firm’s Annual General Meeting in May.

Boyle will step down from his position at Plus500 in order to focus more on his existing full-time role with Aviva.

Alastair Gordon, chairmen of Plus500, said: “The board is grateful to Mr Boyle for his service during a period which has seen significant regulatory challenges, but also strong process on operational business front. His contribution has been of huge value to the business and we wish him every success in the future.

“At the same time we are pleased to recognise Mr Even-Chen's contribution to the business and the important role he plays representing the company to shareholders and the financial markets.”
