NYX Gaming Group has agreed a deal to become the new platform provider to Nederlandse Loterij, the recently formed Dutch national lottery.

Under the agreement, the NYX Open Platform System (OPS) platform will serve as the player management system for Nederlandse Loterij and will manage all lottery and sports-betting products distributed through all retail and digital channels.

Nederlandse Loterij was formed following the recent merger between De Lotto and Nederlandse Staatsloterij.

As part of the agreement, NYX has migrated the databases of players from both De Lotto and Nederlandse Staatsloterij into its OPS.

“At every stage of our collaboration, NYX has lived up to its reputation as a world-leading gaming content and platform provider,” Nederlandse Loterij chief operating officer Joost den Heijer said.

“Moving to its OPS and a single player database has been highly beneficial to Nederlandse Loterij and we look forward to many more years of success together.”

Matt Davey, chef executive of NYX, added: “It is a privilege to be working with Nederlandse Loterij, who are a key player on the world lottery stage.

“The team has been a pleasure to work with and we look forward to developing our partnership over the coming months.”
