NordicBet has renewed its sponsorship deal with the Champions Hockey League (CHL) pan-European club ice hockey competition.

The extended agreement runs from the 2017-18 season through to the end of the 2019-20 campaign.

NordicBet will have exclusivity in the sports betting category within the CHL and also serve as the exclusive presenter of official statistics on the league’s website.

The online gaming firm will also present the CHL’s most valuable player award, as well as benefit from branding on various surfaces at all CHL games.

In addition, NordicBet will continue to benefit from networking at CHL arenas.

Magnus Linder, head of sponsorships and brand alliances at NordicBet, said: “With our online betting and gaming portfolio already fully integrated into the CHL, we are aiming at further strengthening our position as No.1 ice hockey sports betting company.

“We appreciate the multiple activation possibilities of the platform as well as the ability to offer a personal element of suspense for the fan beyond the event itself and for spectators outside the arenas.

“We are able to increase the level of engagement of the fans through our gaming as well as expanding awareness of our brand across Europe.”

The deal was brokered by the Infront Sports & Media agency, which serves as the exclusive media and marketing partner of the CHL.
