Mr Green has selected Kambi Group as its sportsbook supplier, just days after appointing Jesper Kärrbrink as the new chief executive of its online casino business.

Under the agreement, Kambi’s premium sportsbook, which is due to launch in autumn of this year, will complement Mr Green’s existing casino product.

“We look forward to empowering Mr Green to create a personalised sports betting experience for its customer base; Mr Green is very well positioned in a number of interesting geographies and we are looking forward to working together in these markets,” Kambi chief executive Kristian Nylen said.

Confirmation of the Kambi deal will come as a further boost to Mr Green, which this week announced that Jesper Kärrbrink is to replace Bo Wänghammar as its online casino chief executive.

Kärrbrink joins the operator after a spell as chief executive and executive vice-chairman of Euroflorist, where he still serves as a board member.

From 2004 until 2008, he was president and chief executive of Svenska Spel and also spent time with Eniro.

Wänghammar will now work on business development within the wider Mr Green Group.

Kärrbrink said: “It is exciting to be back in the gaming industry, and to be working with one of the industry’s strongest brands.

“I now get the chance to develop an international product offer and strengthen Mr Green’s position further.”
