Italy-facing Microgame Group has joined forces with Mondogoal to launch a daily fantasy sports (DFS) network in the country.

The new game will be made available to over 80 partner websites, while a host of other gambling operators have shown interest in the network.

Mondogoal already operates DFS services in the UK and US markets.

“It has always been Microgame’s strategy to provide our partners and their players with the most comprehensive game portfolio available on the Italian market and with DFS we certainly add another important item to our rich offering,” Microgame chief executive Marco Castaldo said.

“We are convinced that by combining our experience with a competitive product, such as the one offered by Mondogoal, we can become the first Italian network in the field of DFS.”

Shergul Arshad, founder and chief executive of MondoGoal, added: “Via Ikepono and Paolo Cisaria, we are now bringing Mondogoal to hundreds of thousands of new users in the Italian market.

“In our opinion, DFS is the best place for a skill game bettor to participate in betting on the sport they love, and Microgame users, with a heritage in poker, are especially a great fit for DFS and thus the Mondogoal platform.”
