Metric Gaming links up with GeoComply for North American launch

Sports betting products and services provider Metric Gaming has entered into a partnership with geolocation solutions provider GeoComply ahead of its entrance into the North American market.

Under the agreement, GeoComply will manage Metric Gaming’s geolocation compliance needs in North America.

The GeoComply service will cover all devices that can be used to access the Metric Gaming services.

“Metric's first-to-market SuperLive technology provides betting opportunities on virtually every play, which means ease-of-use across all mobile devices is absolutely critical,” Metric Gaming chief executive officer Peter Bertilsson said.

“GeoComply’s ability to cover the full range of devices and deliver the location compliance we need without disrupting the user experience made GeoComply an easy choice.”

Anna Sainsbury, chief executive officer of GeoComply USA, added: “With the emergence of live betting on mobile as an increasingly essential platform for licensed sports wagering, we are thrilled that Metric, one of the most innovative new service providers in this space, has chosen us as their partner for both on-property as well as intra-state geolocation.”
