Live casino’s Authentic working through new market ‘hitlist’

Authentic Gaming has revealed it is working through a “hitlist” of new market launches after expanded its services into Estonia and Latvia for the first time.

The live casino supplier has signed a deal with online casino and sportsbook firm Optibet, with players in both Baltic states now able to access the company’s live roulette gaming service.

Roulette wheels are streamed live from various major casinos around the world, with players able to bet online alongside customers in the land-based facility.

Authentic last month launched in Italy via partnerships with both LeoVegas and Eurobet, and has also gone live in Denmark and Romania during the past 12 months. In addition, the company picked up a new licence in the UK in August.

Jonas Delin (pictured), chief executive of Authentic, told iGamingBusiness.com: “Interest from one of our operator partners made us take a closer look at these territories and we found there were great opportunities in both markets.

“Latvia had a strong appetite for live casino games but lacked variety, so there was a clear opportunity to launch our suite of innovative live roulette games and shake up the status quo. With these opportunities identified, the next step was to ensure our games were compliant and certified, and then gear up for launch.”

Delin also told iGamingBusiness.com that the firm is now seeking to launch in other markets, revealing Authentic has a “hitlist” to work through moving into 2019.

He said: “We will focus on maximising our footprint in the markets that we have just entered as we are in the early stages of our growth cycle. Having said that, we continuously eye other lucrative markets, and have a hitlist that we will work through moving into the new year.”
