iSoftBet eyes Malta B2B market with new licence

Casino software and games supplier iSoftBet is to expand its services in the Malta market after securing a B2B software licence from the Malta Gaming Authority (MGA).

The new licence will now enable iSoftBet to provide more than 100 of its games to tier-one brands also licensed by the MGA.

The approval will also impact software providers with games on iSoftBet’s Game Aggregation Platform (GAP), with those that hold a MGA gaming licence or letter of recognition to continue to supply their content.

iSoftBet now holds licences in 16 regulated markets around the world, including the UK, Alderney, Belgium, Croatia, Estonia, Hungary, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Portugal and Switzerland.

“Malta is a key milestone for iSoftBet, and we’re delighted to have gone through the licensing process with flying colours,” iSoftBet’s compliance manager Mark Halstead said.

“This enables us to both extend our relationships with existing tier one customers as well as gain access to a wealth of potential new clients. Malta is attracting an increasing number of well-known operators and we’re excited about what the future holds there.”

Earlier this year, iSoftBet also expanded into the Czech Republic after it agreed a deal to support Czech state lottery operator Sazka with the launch of its next-generation online casino product.

In April, iSoftBet also brokered a deal to provide a range of slots and table games content to the OPAP-controlled, Greece-facing GML Interactive, operator of the Stoiximan and Betano brands.
