IGT hands new senior role to Celadon

International Game Technology (IGT) has appointed Fabio Celadon as senior vice-president of its gaming portfolio.

International Game Technology (IGT) has appointed Fabio Celadon as senior vice-president of its gaming portfolio.

In his new role, Celadon will be responsible for technological advancements and market and competitive trends; global research, development, and delivery consolidation, and related allocation of budgets and resources; content portfolio evolution; hardware and content roadmaps consolidation and execution; and product performance and results.

Celadon has been with the company for a number of years and most recently served as managing director, IGT Greater China and senior vice-president, IGT International.

In addition, Celadon was previously senior vice-president of group strategy and corporate development for GTECH, before its merger with IGT.

Celadon has also held various roles with Lottomatica, Atlantis Capital Partners and Morgan Stanley.

Marco Sala, chief executive of IGT, said: “Fabio brings more than 15 years of global gaming experience and expertise working in various management capacities at IGT and its legacy companies.

“His operational experience, coupled with his global perspective and in-depth knowledge of the gaming industry having overseen the strategy, competitive intelligence, and mergers and acquisitions organisations for the company, makes him ideally suited to lead the gaming portfolio group for IGT.”
