iGaming Dashboard – November 2016
H2 Gambling Capital and iGaming Business are pleased to bring you the November 2016 iGaming Dashboard.
Please note that the dates for the data have changed and start from 2003 and go up to 2020 and now include forecasts for mobile betting.
H2 Gambling Capital has updated its data for the Oceania region to include the results of the research it recently carried out for the Australian Wagering Council while the onshore/offshore category has also been changed to “Percentage of Global iGaming Gross Win 'White Market'.
This is to account for taxed or fully legitimate markets, these include the UK and any market that is in transition.
The past month has seen the end of the third quarter exchange rates and the International Monetary Fund’s latest bi-annual GDP forecasts are being integrated into the H2 Gambling Capital model. They should be completed in time for the December dashboard next month.
Despite these changes the overall impact has been low but with better than expected third quarter results for Nordic operators there could be more upgrades by the year-end.
