Glück Games has appointed Rafael Razim as its new chief technology officer.

Razim will join the company as a ‘late co-founder” and become part of its senior management team.

Earlier in his career, Razim co-founded Berlin-based GimiGames, a VC-backed multiplayer skill-gaming platform, and a real-money poker-company in Malta.

Robert Lenzhofer, chief executive of Glück Games, said: “Our Berlin development team has expanded from just four people at the start to over 20 now.

“From a standing start, that team produced over 40 new games and our own, unique, Remote Gaming & Commerce Server (RGCS) in 2016.

“Throughout 2017 we are producing a further 100 games, our own game development kit and further enhancing our RGCS both in terms of new features and ever-improved levels of reliability.

“That level of ambition required a heavyweight CTO and, in Rafael, we now have that.”

Speaking about his new role with the company, Razim added: “I have been seeking my next challenge for some time now but it didn’t take very long, after talking to Robert and meeting the team, to decide that I had found that, here, with Glück.

“What they have achieved in such a short space of time and with so little resources is very impressive.

“The technology products and platform enhancements that we have planned will surely propel us to an even higher level and I am very excited to be part of the journey that lies ahead of us.”
