GiG rolls out new sportsbook for

Gaming Innovation Group (GiG) has launched its new sportsbook with, as it seeks to position its in-house brand as a sportsbook-led operator.

Both new and existing customers will have access to the sportsbook, which GiG said offers an improved user interface and experiences, as well as faster navigation on the mobile-focused platform.

The decision to reposition forms part of a wider B2C strategy GiG set out in its Q1 report, with the focus enhancing the sports betting experience at and improving its casino brand.

“GiG is continuing to develop its sportsbook with new features; key priorities are innovative trading tools, data driven odds together with a full retail and online solution,” GiG said in a statement.

“Break-even in this vertical is expected in the first half of 2020. This will be achieved by strengthening the sportsbook by growing the in-house brand Guts, by the developments in the new sportsbook and a focused marketing approach.”

GiG unveiled its new sportsbook in June last year when it rolled out the solution with The online gaming technology supplier has since built on this by licensing the sportsbook to external partners, including this week with Metal Casino.
