Gaming Standards Association names 2014 board officers
International trade group the Gaming Standards Association (GSA) has announced the election of its 2014 board officers.
Adrian Marcu of International Game Technology, has been re-elected as chairman of the GSA, while Walt Eisele of Bally Technologies will retain his position as vice-chair.
WMS Gaming’s Mark Pacewas has been re-elected treasurer of the trade group, while Rick Gilhuly of the Manitoba Liquor & Lotteries Corporation will also continue in his role as secretary.
In addition, the GSA has announced a number of new additions to its board.
GTECH’s Rachel Barber and Tom Beauchamp from Penn National Gaming have been elected to the board, as have Syed Hussain from the Oregon state Lottery and Klaus Peltsch from the Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation.
Elsewhere, Playtech’s Shay Segev and Jeanne-Marie Wilkins from the Isle of Capri Casino have also been added to the board, while Aristocrat’s Keith Wood and Jeff Wyton from the Albert Gaming & Liquor Commission have also been handed roles.
Peter DeRaedt, president of the GSA, said: “As an organisation, we remain focused on providing value to our membership and the industry as a whole.
“The involvement and dedication of our board members is vital in moving our organisation forward, and everyone's unique perspective and experience is an absolute asset to our association as we continue to grow and expand our global reach.”
