FSB Tech has agreed a deal to work with Victor Chandler on a new sportsbook and gaming venture in East Africa.

Due to launch in August, Bet Lion will be powered by FSB Tech and offer punters in the region access to various sports betting and gaming services.

FSB Tech already has a presence in the wider African market, through existing partnerships with operators in Kenya and Tanzania.

“The market is already showing huge growth and smartphone penetration is much higher than many realise and with that has come an excellence in micro-payment,” Chandler said.

Richard Thorp, business development director at FSB Tech, added: “It’s great to be working in a region that has so much potential, especially with somebody who has such a clear passion for and understanding of the betting and gaming business.”
