FSB Technology intends to cooperate fully with the GB Gambling Commission’s review of its licence, which it says relates to issues with a minority of its white label partners.

FSB told iGamingBusiness.com that the Commission had expressed concerns over the levels of due diligence performed on a “small number” of its white label partners, prompting it to launch the investigation.

“This process is isolated to a nominal amount of white label licences only, and no further impact or site-suspension is expected,” the supplier explained. “These partners and FSB are now fully cooperating with the GC, and we anticipate comprehensive resolution of those concerns in short order.”

FSB-powered white label sites for 1xBet and Blackbet have been taken offline in recent weeks. The 1xBet site went down last week, following a Sunday Times investigation into the operator that accused it of a number of potential breaches of UK regulations. The operator denies any wrongdoing, however, claiming that issues such as its ads appearing on prohibited websites was down to third party partners.

Blackbet’s site, meanwhile, carries a message informing customers that all gambling activities have been suspended for the “foreseeable future”. It also warned that any unsettled bets as of 23:59 on 27 Augst would be made void.

FSB said it would work closely with the Commission to protect customer interests and funds, as well as honouring any unsettled bets.

“As a trusted and proven supplier, FSB puts probity at the cornerstone of everything we do, operating in regulated jurisdictions as a matter of policy,” it said. “Furthermore, we take our social and regulatory responsibilities to our customers and the wider public extremely seriously.”

It added that as part of its white label solution, it provides brands with everything required to run a responsible sports betting and gaming business, including reporting and social responsibility tools, segmentation, payments and data analytics solutions.

“[FSB] has always placed a strong premium on social responsibility and its solution offers full workflow management across anti-money laundering and customer interactions as well as flexible tools for self-exclusion, time-outs and self-imposed limits,” it said.
