Fortuna completes Hattrick deal, sells stake in Czech business

Fortuna Entertainment has finalised its previously announced acquisition of Hattrick Sports Group, while the company has also sold its stake in its Czech Republic-based business Fortuna sázky.

Fortuna Entertainment has finalised its previously announced acquisition of Hattrick Sports Group, while the company has also sold its stake in its Czech Republic-based business Fortuna sázky.

In February, Fortuna agreed an undisclosed deal to acquire 100% of the shares in sports betting solutions provider Hattrick and the acquisition has now been approved by relevant regulatory authorities, as well as by the shareholders of the company.

Hattrick owns and operates Romanian betting operator, Casa Pariurilor, as well as Croatian brand PSK, and various B2B operations in Spain, Germany and other countries.

Meanwhile, Fortuna has completed the sale of its 98.4% stake in Fortuna sázky a.s. to Czech lottery operator Sazka.

The deal was agreed and finalised on May 23, although both parties have opted not to disclose the transaction price.

Fortuna confirmed that the 1.6% stake held by E-invest will be also be sold off as part of the deal.
