Camelot strengthens North American team with new appointment

6 July 2015

Lottery company Camelot Global has appointed Duncan Malyon as its new senior vice-president of North America as part of an effort to strengthen its service offering in the region.

Malyon first joined the company in 2009 and has been serving as sales director at the firm’s Camelot UK business.

In his new role, Malyon will focus continuing to build Camelot’s North American business in line with its global strategic business plans.

Malyon, who will report directly to Camelot Global chief executive Nigel Railton, will place a particular focus on developing the company’s future digital and retail channel strategy.

“Over the last few years the company has established itself in the industry for offering its clients the very best strategic advice, managed service solutions and now industry-leading technology,” Malyon said.

“As Camelot Global grows, it is imperative that we continue to innovate and lead the market, and I look forward to playing my role in further developing that process.”

Chief executive Railton added: “Having someone of Duncan's experience and reputation in the retail industry is a great asset for Camelot Global.

“Duncan has great expertise, not only in all the retail aspects of our industry, but in working for a world leading multi-channel lottery.”
