Amatic integrates Comtrade solution in Austria

7 April 2015

Gaming systems management supplier Comtrade Gaming has announced that its sCore G2S protocol stack has been integrated into gaming machines run by Amatic Industries in Austria.

Under national law in the European country, each machine must be directly connected to a Federal Computing Centre.

Amatic become the second manufacturer to go live with its machines in Austria since the launch of the system in July 2013.

Integration of the solution means Amatic’s machines meet the requirements of Austrian legislation and that each device can communicate with the federal system via Gaming Standards Association’s (GSA) G2S protocol.

“Comtrade Gaming, with their expertise in the field of gaming systems management, helped us to connect our machines to the Federal Computing Centre,” Amatic said in a statement.

“Furthermore, with this solution we will be able to bring our products to new markets. This definitely is one of the best investments into the future.”

Oliver Lynch, director of systems at Comtrade Gaming, added: “Comtrade Gaming has been helping gaming machine manufacturers adopt new GSA protocols for years and Amatic was one of our first clients.

“We are very happy that the launch of their machines in Austria was successful.

“Such deployments of G2S standard are proof that the gaming industry is modernising and we will continue with our product investments to help other regulators and vendors to upgrade their environments.”
