We have been appointed on an exclusive basis by one of our key customers to recruit a Head of International Technology.

This is a brand new role to lead and build a new software development and technology team for the International markets.

This position will offer a very attractive basic salary + generous bonus and benefits schemes.

The teams are split into a number of squads, aligned to our core business areas. This means that we have end to end teams, who take ownership of our products, working closely together to directly impact their success. They use cutting edge technology to hold their place at the centre of the industry, being a key player in client brand awareness and acquisition for bookmakers.

This is an opportunity to lead the new International technology team, in a central role within the business. You will be responsible for the overall output for the international technology team which will include growing and managing a team, as well as stakeholder management both internally and externally.

You will be responsible for technical strategy for all of the International platform. The role will require working closely with product and core development teams to ensure a consistent strategy is implemented to ensure consistent quality across all the platforms.

This is a very visible role within the business and you should be proactive and ambitious, with the ability to manage expectations in order for us to develop the best products.

  • Responsible for development of all international products
  • Responsible for ensuring development standards and quality is upheld
  • Engagement across multiple development squads
  • Acquisition and retention of engineering talent
  • Manage expectations of senior stakeholders

Essential experience:

  • Demonstrable experience in at least one software leadership role
  • Strong knowledge of Java, React and PHP
  • A proven track record in software development
  • Experience working with cloud based environments and new web technologies
  • Successful record of product releases within a fast growth environment
  • Agile methodology experience
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills and diplomatic approach
  • Ability to build relationships with a number of stakeholders across the business, manage priorities and provide updates on key projects.

Desired experience:

  • Experience working in the gambling/gaming industry
  • Technically strong in order to be hands-on, if needed
