A Dublin based client is now seeking to hire a remote Game Developer. They have developed cutting-edge technology that is disrupting the online gaming world for the better, delivering a blockchain-powered casino platform. The role:

The role is a remote position working for a Dublin based operation, accepting applicants from across the European Union.

They are looking for an experienced game developer who can translate designs and requirements into clean and efficient code. You will be able to produce prototypes of gameplay ideas and features as well as implement all technical aspects of each game such as animation, effects, UI and audio.

Part of the role includes creating unit tests and validation procedures to assure quality whilst also contributing to the design in collaboration with their talented team.

You will be an important part of the process of developing schedules and determining milestones, at the same time you will be “Polishing” the game, maintaining code, fixing bugs and ironing out any occurring problems.

Requirements:

  • Proven working experience in full lifecycle game development
  • High level knowledge of at least one major OO programming language (C++, C#, Java etc)
  • Up-to-date with the latest gaming trends, techniques, best practices and technologies
  • Ability to solve problems creatively and effectively
