A New Hampshire District Court Judge has ruled in favour of the state in its legal challenge against the US Department of Justice’s (DoJ) revised Wire Act opinion, stating that the 1961 act only applies to sports betting.
A bill to legalise sports betting on tribal lands in North Carolina has been passed by the state Senate, and transferred to the House of Representatives. The bill passed at the second reading, with 43 Senators voting in favour and seven against.

Nevada’s new Democratic Governor Steve Sisolak has appointed Sandra Douglass Morgan as the chair of the Nevada Gaming Control Board (NGCB). Las Vegas native Morgan currently serves as director of external affairs for US telecommunications giant AT&T in the southern Nevada region.
