Virtual sports software company VSoftCo has appointed Chris Davies as its new chief executive

Virtual sports software company VSoftCo has appointed Chris Davies as its new chief executive.

Davies will have full operational responsibilities within the company, overseeing the implementation of software, developing the range of services and ensuring the firm exceeds commercial targets.

The appointment comes after Davies spent the last six months in a consultancy capacity with VSoftCo, supporting the company with the development of its first real-time, on-demand virtual game.

Davies most recently served as chief executive Webtech, helping transform the business from a software development company into an igaming software supplier.

“VSoftCo has a unique advantage in its real-time rendering engine and we will be seeking to exploit that, and our other exciting developments, to widen our appeal in the sector,” Davies said.

“We are also working alongside our key partners Vermantia and Kiron Interactive to ensure we can provide a seamless market-leading portfolio of virtual sports.”

Scott McCabe, director of VSoftCo, added: “VSoftCo experienced a very exciting year in 2017 with numerous deals being signed and we have already benefitted from Chris’ experience in developing and delivering our market leading technology.”
