Sports betting firm Tipbet has moved to enhance its service offering in Germany with the addition of Sportradar’s e-sports suite.

Under the agreement, Tipbet will now offer German customers access to betting options on e-sports games and events.

Sportradar’s range of e-sports games will be made available on Tipbet’s online platform, as well as in the company’s network of retail stores across the country.

Customers will be able to bet on e-sports such as ‘League of Legends’, ‘Starcraft II’ and ‘Counter Strike: Global Offensive’.

“E-sports is a young and exciting project; with our new e-sports offer, we are using and furthering the popularity of the sports at the same time,” Tipbet managing director Bahadir Malkoc said.

Lorenzo Caci, director of sales at Sportradar, added: “We have worked hard in-house to ensure that our full suite of products and services are fully tailored to the individual e-sports.

“We want our clients to be able to attract seasoned e-sports bettors, we want them to pique the interest of non-e-sports bettors to try their hand at this new sport.

“But most of all, we want them to be confident that they have a partner who will generate value for them today and tomorrow.”
