Asian online betting company BETEAST has agreed a deal to become the new front-of-shirt sponsor of English Premier League football club Swansea City.

Under the agreement, which will run for the 2016-17 season, BETEAST branding will appear on the front of Swansea’s playing shirt.

The online operator will also serve as the club’s official Asian betting and gaming partner.

BETEAST said it will use the deal to help support its plans to expand in Europe, through the use of a new website developed in partnership with TGP Europe, especially for customers based in the UK.

“This is BETEAST’s first venture into British football and the next step in a sponsorship strategy that will aim to make the brand present in top sporting events around the world,” a BETEAST spokesperson said.

“We will be working hard to bring our customers a first-class selection of products and an enhanced gaming experience which I’m sure supporters will enjoy.”

Leigh Dineen, vice-chairman and commercial director of Swansea, added: “It is an exciting partnership and the biggest front-of-shirt deal the club has ever secured.

“As a club we are looking forward to helping BETEAST grow their brand internationally.”
