Sportradar Integrity Services has entered into a partnership with the Rugby Football League (RFL).

The two-year agreement with England’s governing body for rugby league has coincided with the start of the 2017 season.

Sportradar will supply monitoring, prevention and intelligence solutions to the RFL to help counter betting-related match-fixing.

The partnership will also ensure that data from RFL competitions is made available to a range of businesses and platforms.

The fraud detection system will monitor over 200 rugby league matches, including all Super League games, Challenge Cup games, as well as the World Club Series.

“At the Rugby Football League we take the integrity of the game very seriously,” said RFL director Karen Moorhouse.

“It is important that everyone within rugby league, but also those outside our immediate reach, are in no doubt about our commitment to an honest and credible sport. Our partnership with Sportradar underpins our message and magnifies it. We are looking forward to working with them over the coming years.”
