Sky Betting and Gaming recruitment levels hit record high

Sky Betting and Gaming has revealed that it is recruiting and creating jobs at its fastest-ever rate, with the company having hired almost 600 employees during the past 12 months.

Unveiling the figures at the Leeds Digital Festival, the firm said that of the total number of appointments made in the past year by Sky Betting and Gaming, 579 were made in the current financial year.

According to BDaily.co.uk, of the total, the company is also currently advertising 147 live vacancies; 75 of which are technology-based roles such as developers, engineers and analysts.

Rob Painter, brand and HR director at Sky Betting and Gaming, said: “We’ve adopted a number of fresh approaches to developing talent and events like Leeds Digital Festival allow us and the rest of the tech sector here to shout about the opportunities available in the city.”
