Scientific Games has been awarded two major lottery and gaming contracts by Danish operator Danske Spil.

Under the first agreement, which runs for seven years, Scientific Games will provide Danske Spil with new systems technology, including games solutions and services.

Scientific Games has also secured a five-year deal for Danske Spil’s interactive player account management solution (PAM) and services that will unify player experience across products and distribution channels.

Danske Spil, which already has a relationship with Scientific Games through the supply of instant games and interactive products, has the option to extend both contracts by an additional two years.

“Scientific Games has demonstrated that their integrated systems technologies, expertise and quality of service meet the complex business needs of Danske Spil for secure lottery and gaming operations,” Danske Spil chief executive H.C. Madsen said.

“We believe that a new open architecture system, advanced lottery numbers games and unified PAM solution will play an important role in our overall mission to increase revenues in the coming years.”

Michael Lightman, senior vice-president, lottery interactive for Scientific Games, added: “The Danske Spil interactive PAM contract demonstrates that Scientific Games is on the leading edge of the convergence of the lottery and gaming industries, and offers the most complete technology solutions for progressive operators seeking to deliver a unified player experience across all games and channels.”
