NYX picks up gaming licence in Romania

NYX Gaming Group has obtained a class two licence from the Romanian National Gambling Office (ONJN) national regulatory body.

NYX Gaming Group has obtained a class two licence from the Romanian National Gambling Office (ONJN) national regulatory body.

The new licence will enable NYX to deliver digital gaming content via its Open Gaming System platform to both existing and future gaming operators in the country’s regulated market.

In a statement, NYX said the new licence reinforces its strategy to increase its global footprint and expand relationships in regulated markets.

David Flynn, executive vice-president, business development at NYX, added: “Expansion within regulated markets is an important part of the NYX growth strategy.

“The achievement of our Romanian licence underlines the calibre of our Open Gaming System and omni-channel content portfolio, and allows us to bring our innovative gaming expertise to this continually expanding market.”
