mybet Holding has confirmed it is to become the 10th member of the German Online Casino Association.

In a statement, mybet said the move will complement its existing membership of the German Sports Betting Association and further support an ongoing effort to establish consistent gambling regulation in the country.

mybet currently offers online sports betting and casino games under licences issued in Malta and the German region of Schleswig-Holstein.

Markus Peuler, chief executive of mybet, said: “The mybet Group is strongly interested in a safe legal environment for our sports betting and casino offering.

“We would like to support the political initiatives of the two associations also in the future, that aim at a solution with the legislators which is viable for all parties.

“At mybet we welcome every regulation, that allows us to offer sports betting on the internet and in our betting shops as well as online casino games in a legally safe and economically viable way.”
