Major operators pledge support for Responsible Gambling Week
Aspers, Mecca, William Hill and Cashino are among the high-profile operators launching initiatives in support of this year’s Responsible Gambling Week.
The Industry Group For Responsible Gambling, which was also behind last year’s inaugural event, is running the campaign between 1 and 7 November 2018.
As well as the industry’s operators, suppliers and publishers getting on board, it will be supported by gambling charities, GambleAware, GamCare, and YGam (Young Gamblers Education Trust), and by the Gambling Commission.
Aspers, Mecca, William Hill and Cashino will have staff handing out literature about the campaign in there venues during the week, while Virgin Games has donated space on its homepage to promote the initiative.
Clarion Gaming is funding a targeted influencer engagement campaign to run on Instagram before and during the week.
