Ladbrokes has rolled out a new mini-league for customers of the Mirror Fantasy iTeam fantasy football mobile application.

Developed for UK newspaper The Daily Mirror, the app allows users to select a team of players from the English Premier League top-tier club competition and compete against others from around the country.

The Ladbrokes mini-league will offer more than £10,000 (€12,000/$13,100) in prizes, with a grand prize of a £1,000 free bet.

The bookmaker will also offer 10 monthly prizes of £400 and 38 weekly prizes of £200.

“We’re thrilled to be working alongside Ladbrokes ahead of the new Premier League season,” Fantasy iTeam commercial director Phil Shaw said.

“Their generous prize pool will give users that extra reason to download the app and show they can create the best iTeam.”

Alex Donohue of Ladbrokes, added: “We're excited to be working with Mirror Fantasy iTeam for the season ahead.

“After a captivating year culminating in 5,000/1 shots Leicester City winning the title, all eyes will be on the Premier League and we’re proud to support one of the world's biggest fantasy football communities.”
