Inspired Gaming Group has announced that its land-based virtual sports games have passed technical field trials in Nevada.

Tests were carried out in association with William Hill, and Inspired are now set to launch the products across the operator’s Nevada Casino Sportsbook next year.

Inspired’s virtual sports will be shown alongside live sports in casino sportsbook areas in the US state, while players will be able to place bets in real time via William Hill’s CBS platform over the counter and via self-service terminals.

Steve Rogers, chief commercial officer digital games at Inspired, said: “The successful completion of Inspired’s virtual sports technical field trial in Nevada is fantastic news for the business, as we bring our extensive portfolio of products to more US venues than ever before.

“This announcement again confirms Inspired as the world leader in virtual sports innovation and deployment, and we look forward to delivering cutting-edge entertainment with an edge to William Hill’s customers in Nevada.

“Expansion in the US is a strategic focus for Inspired, and we’re excited to extend our virtual sports offering to specifically suit this market.”
