Inspired Gaming Group has announced that it is to become the first company to supply virtual sports games online to the North American market through a new partnership with the Golden Nugget Atlantic City casino in New Jersey.

Under the agreement, Inspired, which is now a licensed provider of technology in the state of New Jersey, will provide its products via Spin Games’ Robust Online Client as part of a content deal with the company.

Golden Nuggets’ online offering will feature Inspired virtual sports such as Rush Horse Racing, Rush Car Racing and Rush Football.

Inspired’s virtual sports products, the first to be offered in the US, will be made available on desktop and mobile.

“With close to 300 games available through its web portal and mobile apps, GoldenNuggetCasino.com already offers the best and largest selection of games to New Jersey online players,” Golden Nugget’s vice-president of online gaming, Thomas Winter, said.

“Virtual Sports brings fun to the next level and shows our restless commitment to remain the destination of choice for New Jersey online players.”

Steve Rogers, chief commercial officer for digital games at Inspired, added: “This is a hugely exciting moment for Inspired, as we become the first ever supplier to deliver Virtual Sports online to the US market.

“This deal comes as part of Inspired’s ongoing global strategy, and we look forward to announcing further deals and projects in the US in the near future.

“We have a proven track record of creating new markets as we have demonstrated over the years in the UK, Italy, and China, to name a few, and we are sure that the US will be just as explosive.”
