Inspired clinches first virtual sports deal in North America

Inspired Gaming Group has secured a virtual sports content agreement with Spin Games, in a deal that represents the first partnership of its kind for the company in North America.

Inspired Gaming Group has secured a virtual sports content agreement with Spin Games, in a deal that represents the first partnership of its kind for the company in North America.

Under the deal, Spin Games will utilise its Robust Online Client HTML5 RGS to deploy Inspired’s virtual sports content to players in the region.

Inspired titles on offer will include the full suite of virtual sports such as ‘Rush Horse Racing’ and ‘Rush Football’.

“We have seen a rapid growth in demand for Virtual Sports in the UK and Europe in recent years, and I am confident that their popularity will be equalled in the USA,” Inspired chief operating officer Steve Rogers said.

“The combination of our best-in-class technology, and Spin Games’ distribution channel is a fantastic proposition for operators, and we anticipate a long and successful working partnership.”

Kent Young, chief executive and president of Spin Games, added: “Currently, virtual sports in the UK and Europe is a significantly expanding business which has been very well accepted by operators and players alike.

“The virtual sports market in North America is yet to be exploited and Spin believes the partnership is a further step in our strategy and positioning as market leader in RGS technology and content.

“Utilising Inspired’s best of breed technology will allow for comprehensive deployment across North America.”
