GVC has overhauled its tennis offering with the introduction of new data feeds and in-play score visualisation graphics, while the company has also named Jane Anscombe as an independent non-executive director.

The company said that the expanded tennis service has been designed to enhance the customer experience, having recently secured multi-year agreements with IMG and Sportradar, major suppliers of real-time tennis data.

Both feeds are now fully automated and integrated into GVC’s sports technology platform and as a result, customers using the firm’s bwin and Sportingbet brands have seen in-play bet delays reduced by more than 66%.

Other improvements to the service include a revamped user interface while bwin customers can now view more tennis matches on their device in real-time.

Liron Snir, chief product officer at GVC, said: “In a sport where the score changes by the second, having the best quality data is of paramount importance, while presenting the betting options in a user-friendly way is essential.

“We have taken huge strides in this product revamp and we will continue to fine tune it based on feedback from our players.”

Meanwhile, GVC has confirmed Anscombe will join its board of directors with immediate effect.

Anscombe boasts more than 30 years’ experience in the gaming, leisure and entertainment sector, and this year retired as a gaming and entertainment analyst at Edison Investment Research.

Earlier in her career, Anscombe also spent time as director of investor relations at the Rank Group.

GVC chairman Lee Feldman said: “I look forward to working with Jane who brings an impressive wealth of knowledge about the gaming sector and will enhance the board's discussions and decision-making.

“As the new chair of the Remuneration Committee, Jane will lead the process reviewing executive remuneration policy in consultation with our major shareholders.”
