The Genting UK arm of the Genting Group has announced further restructuring of the business as part of a strategy to develop a multi-channel offering for its customers in the region.

Under the plans, Mark Sergeant, who was initially appointed managing director of the firm’s provincial casino estate will now also assume responsibility for the online business.

Sergeant has experience in the UK market, having previously served as managing director of Gala Casinos.

In addition, as part of the restructure, Peter Nolan has left his role as managing director of Genting Alderney with immediate effect.

Genting UK president Paul Willcock said: “Our strategy is to develop a compelling multi-channel experience for our customers across our retail estate, online and mobile platforms.

“I would like to thank Peter Nolan for the great work he has done building our online business.

“We are now focusing on converging the two businesses together under the guidance of Mark Sergeant.”
