GAMING1 has become the first international gambling firm to secure a casino and sportsbook licence from Colombian regulator Coljuegos in a 50-50 share capital joint venture with local operator Vicca Group.

Under the agreement, GAMING1 and Vicca Group have launched Zamba.co, which will be made available on both mobile and desktop, featuring a range of games such as roulette, blackjack and slots.

The first wave of titles will be exclusively provided by GAMING1, with additional content from other certified providers to be added in the coming weeks.

Rodrigo Afanador, chief executive of Vicca Group, said: “GAMING1’s suite of products and services has impressed us immensely, and they are the perfect international partner to help us target the regulated online market in Colombia.”

Sylvain Boniver, cief executive of GAMING1, added: “Colombia is setting the benchmark in Latin America, with its robust regulatory framework similar to those seen in the European market, and to be the first to launch a combined casino and sportsbook underlines the strength of our approach.”
