Delaware online revenue hits record high in March

The Delaware Lottery has announced that the US state generated its highest-ever monthly online gaming revenue total in March of this year.

The Delaware Lottery has announced that the US state generated its highest-ever monthly online gaming revenue total in March of this year.

The $260,539 (€230,621) collected by online gaming operators in the state last month easily surpassed the previous record of $240,762 set in April 2014 and represents year-on-year growth of 78%.

Delaware came close to breaking the record in February, when operators posted revenue of $229,789 for online gaming activities.

Revenue from online poker activities in March totalled  $37,324, with Delaware Park leading the way by generating $20,447.

The Delaware Lottery also confirmed new record-high revenue total for online video lottery, with such activities bringing in $154,794, although online casino game suffered, with the $68,420 generated last month 30% down on the $97,899 posted in February.
