Cherry boosts management team with new appointments

Cherry AB has appointed Christine Rankin as its new chief financial officer and Carolina Haglund Strömlid as head of investor relations and communications.

Cherry AB has appointed Christine Rankin as its new chief financial officer and Carolina Haglund Strömlid as head of investor relations and communications.

Rankin will begin her role immediately after joining the company from Nasdaq, prior to which she was vice-president finance as Serneke Group AB and head of corporate control at Spotify AB.

Haglund Strömlid previously served as head of investor relations at Com Hem Holding AB, as well as senior advisor for IR and PR at Intellecta Corporate AB, and head of corporate communications and investor relations at PA Resources AB.

Anders Holmgren, chief executive of Cherry AB, said: “Together we will continue to develop Cherry as a fast-growing company, as well as managing the strong positions Cherry holds across all of its business areas.

“This change is part of our preparation to be able to be traded at Nasdaq Stockholm, and to further provide the company with solid competence within both finance and investor relations and communications.”

Meanwhile, in connection with the appointments, Cherry AB has opted to make a structural change to its management team.
