888poker, the online poker website operated by 888, has revealed details of its revamped loyalty programme, which will see the service move away from a rakeback model to a system based on challenges, tokens and level progress.

Scheduled to launch on March 28, the redesigned ‘888poker Club’ will reward customers with points when they complete certain challenges on poker, as well as when playing casino games and using the 888 sportsbook.

When players hit a target, they move up a level and receive Gold Tokens, which can then by exchanged for prizes.

Each time a player climbs up five levels, they will also receive a Club Scratchcard, while customers will never be moved down a level, even if they opt not to use the service as much.

Despite the introduction of the revamped service, 888poker will honour current cashback commitments under the current scheme.

In a post to players, 888poker said: “We'd like to assure you that despite these major changes, 888poker will fully honour its cashback commitment to all players, including its VIPs, who are currently entitled to yearly cash back in the existing rewards plan.

“Moreover, any reward points players accumulated in the current rewards programme will be automatically transferred to Gold Tokens, with equal value, in the new 888poker Club and will continue to be redeemable any time.

“The cashback available in our current rewards programme will likely not correspond to that offered in the new 888poker Club.”
