Job Description:

Come and play an important part in a true DevOps setup. Our Cloud Engineering and Operations team support our global networks, infrastructure operations delivery, automation, service delivery and desktop services. So, you can imagine what the work environment is like here: extremely fast paced and highly dynamic. And we need someone to keep pace with us.

We’re looking for a Monitoring Tools Engineer to drive quality improvements and integrations in application monitoring solutions. You’ll work closely with project, development and operational teams to enhance and develop custom monitoring requirements. You’ll contribute to a stable systems environment by creating and maintaining event automated processes.

We’re interested in your skills in deploying, architecting and implementing monitoring solutions with a primary focus on enterprise APM toolsets (CA APM/UIM preferred).  You should be comfortable with advanced scripting to include Perl and Python.  Our tech includes Puppet, Git, NoSQL, Riak, Cassandra and Java. If you’re familiar with all these, great. If not, there’s lots to learn. No two days are the same, so you can look forward to making your mark in lots of different ways.  Your colleagues will value your input and you’ll be well placed to cement your reputation

Ideally coming from a large disparate infrastructure, you’ll have an excellent knowledge of Linux, application containers and configuration management. And with your strong understanding of web and mobile apps plus cloud based technologies, there’s no doubt you’ll find a success here.

Whether you decide to live in Gibraltar or southern Spain you’re never far from the beach, good surf and fantastic sailing hotspots.  Whilst we work hard, we find plenty of time to take advantage of alfresco living too.  We offer:

• An excellent re-location package typically covering moving costs, accommodation deposit and 1st months’ rent
• Help with learning the local language
• 25 days holiday + Gibraltar bank holidays (approximately 12 days)
• A day off for your birthday
• Healthcare and Life Assurance Pension Benefits

As one of the leading employers in Gibraltar we’ve also offer discounted gym membership, parking loans, discounts with local restaurants and many more perks too
