YouBet.com Gets Bracey

YouBet.com Incorporated, the American firm behind the online horseracing and wagering site of the same name, has announced the appointment of Susan Bracey as its Interim Chief Financial Officer.

The California firm revealed that Bracey, who is a graduate of Chicago State University, is filling a position that has been empty since the departure of Jim Burk in late-March.

“Susan and I worked together at TicketMaster for several years and I am excited to be teaming with her once again. She brings over 22 years of accounting and financial experience to YouBet.com including several years of experience as Chief Financial Officer for TicketMaster. I am confident that her vast financial knowledge will be an extremely valuable asset during this pivotal period for the company.”

Bracey worked for TicketMaster for eight years and eventually attained the post of Executive Vice-President where she managed all aspects of the firm’s global finance and accounting.

Before this, the certified public accountant served as Chief Financial Officer and Senior Vice-President Of Finance for the National Opinion Research Center at the University Of Chicago. Bracey has also worked as the Vice-President Of Finance and as a Controller for the Fox Broadcasting Company, a division of News Corporation, and was responsible for managing finance and accounting for the network and its subsidiaries.
