WorldWinner.com To Develop Deal Or No Deal Game
03 August 2009

Online skill games site WorldWinner.com, a subsidiary of America’s Game Show Network (GSN), has signed a deal with Endemol USA to develop a cash game version of the popular Deal Or No Deal television programme.
The agreement is part of a larger transaction between GSN and Endemol USA that has seen the television network acquire the broadcast rights for the first three seasons of the one-hour game show.
Due to be released during the fourth quarter on GSN.com, WorldWinner.com and partner sites, the new Deal Or No Deal game will complement the show's television format and give online players the chance to compete against others to rack up high scores and win cash and prizes.
'Deal Or No Deal is one of those games that consistently draws you to the edge of your seat, whether you're playing online or playing along with the television contestants,' said Peter Blacklow, President for WorldWinner.com.
'This type of lean-forward entertainment is a perfect example of the cross-platform entertainment properties.'
Deal Or No Deal will be the latest game show title to join WorldWinner.com's stable, which already includes Wheel Of Fortune, Jeopardy!, Family Feud, The Price Is Right, Catch-21 and The Money List.
'Partnering with WorldWinner.com and GSN opens up a new audience of game enthusiasts who love watching game shows and competing online,” said Joerg Bachmaier, Senior Vice-President Of Digital Media And Business Development for Endemol USA.
“It's incredibly valuable for us to work with a company that doesn't just understand how to create a game but also knows how to extend the entertainment experience across platforms in a true 360 approach.
“Deal Or No Deal fans already play along while they watch at home and we know they'll be thrilled to compete against other players for real cash.'
