As part of an ongoing strategy of expansion, London-based online gaming software supplier WagerWorks has signed an agreement to implement a mobile solution for Internet casino SkyCasino.com.

WagerWorks is a subsidiary of International Game Technology (IGT), the Reno-based designer and manufacturer of computerised gaming equipment, and is the UK's leading provider of online, mobile and integrated digital television game content.

It will now provide its games through these mediums to SkyCasino.com utilising its Orbis back-end system, which offers a single wallet solution enabling players to use funds deposited online to play games on their mobile handsets. Mobile players will be able to enjoy top titles such as Rainbow Riches, Ooh Aah Dracula RIPeater, Elvis Top 20 and Hi-5 alongside future releases including Cleopatra, Cluedo and Monopoly.

“This contract with Sky supports the similar strategies of both IGT and Sky to provide a fully integrated multi-channel package for players,” said Simon Murphy, Head Of Business Development for WagerWorks.

“Through integrating the WagerWorks mobile solution, Sky now operates one of the most comprehensive interactive gaming options in the market allowing its players to experience the same great games online, via interactive television and now mobile.”

WagerWorks announced that it would be exhibiting its full range of prducts at this week’s European iGaming (EiG) 2009 conference in Copenhagen, which runs from Tuesday to Thursday.

“We are delighted to offer Sky players the ability to play their favourite games where they want and when they want,” said John Parsonage from SkyVegas.com.

“With the addition of mobile gaming, WagerWorks has proved itself to be very forward-thinking with its content and technology and it is a development that not only enhances the Sky package available but works in line with our strategy.”
