Visitor registration begins for January’s ICE

The organiser of the annual International Casino Exhibition (ICE), Clarion Gaming, has announced that online visitor registration for next year’s show has begun with more than 100,000 professionals based in over 120 nations expected.
Clarion stated that ICE 2011 will be held from January 25 to 27 at London’s Earls Court Exhibition Centre featuring in excess of 400 firms from every strand of the gaming experience including remote, street, casino, bingo, betting, online and lottery.
As part of its commitment to deliver more for all of its visitor and exhibitor stakeholders, Clarion stated that it has made a ‘major investment in digital’ to transform its ICETotallyGaming.com domain from a ‘conventional exhibition presence’ into a ‘multi-functional portal’ allowing visitors to keep up to speed with developments across every sector of the industry. Attendees to January’s show can also maximise their time at the event by visiting the site in order to plan their visit in minute detail.
“While the opportunity to meet face-to-face with innovators from all strands of the gaming industry is unique to the exhibition, our objective is to leverage the power of the ICE brand to deliver on behalf of our customers every day of the year,” said Kate Chambers, Show Director for ICE.
“We have delivered the first stage of our digital strategy and the early analytics are highly encouraging.”
Developed by Illumina Digital, which was responsible for designing the BBC iPlayer site, Clarion stated that ICETotallyGaming.com includes a ‘wealth of information and applications’ including integrated Twitter, Facebook and Linkedin pages for exhibitor and gaming updates alongside information and ‘click-throughs’ on the latest news.
Features to assist visitors in gaining maximum value from their visit also include an interactive floor plan, which has been designed to help attendees identify new companies and products, alongside an overview of the conference and learning programmes taking place.
