Viaden joins the RGA

Online casino software developer Viaden Gaming is the latest industry name to join the Remote Gambling Association (RGA). The RGA is a London and Brussels-based trade group that works with some of the world's biggest online gaming operators including PaddyPower.com and WilliamHill.com to ensure the highest standards within the industry through the development of strict codes of conduct.
“We firmly believe in the importance of industry regulation as without it we feel there won't be one to develop in future,” said Heather Baker, spokesperson for Viaden.
“The recent pan-Europe agreement published by the European Committee For Standardisation was a major breakthrough for the remote gambling sector and the nine policy objectives ranging from the protection of vulnerable customers through to accurate payment systems and responsible marketing need to be seen as universally standard for any online operator.
“Joining the RGA allows us to show our support for a well regulated industry and commitment to a safer and fairer online gaming environment. We’d already implemented the RGA’s codes of conduct pre-membership as standard best practice but it is reassuring to register its reinforcement.”
Viaden recently launched in the UK with its BigCasino.co.uk site along with a full high-definition and three-dimensional for-money ‘white-label’ casino software offering.
“Viaden’s RGA membership means the operator has committed to enforce the highest standards of probity, integrity and social responsibility in its online operations,” said Brian Wright, Business Director for the RGA.
“We're delighted to add Viaden’s name to our quality roster of online gambling companies and to our association’s voice.”
